An early crack in the sky gave some colour near sunrise today, as seen from Cypress Lookout.

A stop I'll often make before setting off on a pre-dawn hike is on Cypress Mountain, or rather, on the road leading up to Cypress Mountain. There's a lookout point about 3/4 of the way up Cypress Bowl Road which is a popular early morning stop for photographers and tourists alike.

It can be hit or miss to be sure, but this morning fortune smiled on me with some great colours. It didn't last long, but long enough for me to get this 5 shot panoramic stitch. Now, if I could just figure out how to get high enough to get those foreground trees out of the shot...
