There's a little park on Burnaby Mountain, containing the Playground of the Gods, carved wooden sculptures by Japanese sculptors Nuburi Toko and his son, Shusei. I've attempted to get some photos featuring these sculptures in the past, but none have turned out the way I wanted to.
Due to my frustrations in shooting those sculptures, I've often wandered around the park, looking for other views. This one is from a small opening in the trees that I've used before. On this morning, I got lucky with the clouds rolling over the mountains into Indian Arm, partially obscuring this radio tower.
